Short answer: monday.com costs €9 to €19 per user per month for Work Management and €12 to €28 for monday CRM, billed annually and excluding VAT. You need at least 3 users, and you buy seats in bundles. What you end up paying depends mainly on the plan you need and on how your team fits into those bundles.

In this article we list every plan, work through a few scenarios and show where teams overpay in practice. We checked the prices on 8 October 2026 on the official monday.com pricing page.

monday Work Management: prices per plan

Work Management is the product most organisations start with: projects, planning, requests and teamwork. These are the plans:

What is included in each plan?

  • Basic gives you unlimited boards and items, free viewers and 1,000 AI credits per month. You miss out on automations, integrations, timeline and Gantt.
  • Standard adds timeline, Gantt and calendar, guest users, 250 automation and 250 integration actions per month and 2,000 AI credits.
  • Pro adds time tracking, private boards and 25,000 automation and integration actions per month, with 3,000 AI credits.
  • Enterprise is for organisations that need extra security, governance and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. The price is set per organisation.

Our experience: Standard is the real entry plan for most teams. Without automations and a timeline, monday.com remains a glorified to-do list. If you choose Standard, do check how many automations you expect: 250 actions a month run out quickly when every new request triggers a notification, an assignment and a status change.

monday CRM: prices per plan

monday CRM is a separate product for sales: contacts, deals, quotes and follow-up. There is no free plan.

Basic€12€181,000 contacts and deals, 1 workspace

Pro€28€41100,000 contacts and deals, mass mailing, 25,000 automations

With CRM the gap between monthly and annual billing is bigger: up to 33%. The plan you need depends mainly on the number of contacts and deals. A sales team moving its entire customer base over from another package will quickly feel cramped on Basic with 1,000 records.

monday service and monday dev

  • monday service (tickets, customer portal, internal helpdesk): Standard €31 and Pro €45 per user per month, billed annually. Enterprise on quote.
  • monday dev (sprints, roadmaps, bugs): Basic €9, Standard €12 and Pro €20 per user per month, billed annually. Enterprise on quote.

Why you sometimes pay for more users than you have

This is the cost that surprises people most often. monday.com sells seats in bundles: 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 and so on. You cannot pay for 6 or 12 users. If your team falls between two bundles, you pay for the larger one.

Worked examples, billed annually, excluding VAT
TeamPlanBundlePrice per year
4 peopleStandard5 seats5 x €12 x 12 = €720
6 peopleStandard10 seats10 x €12 x 12 = €1,440
12 peoplePro15 seats15 x €19 x 12 = €3,420
8 salespeopleCRM Standard10 seats10 x €17 x 12 = €2,040

Two things help to keep that down. First: viewers are free from Basic upwards. Anyone who only wants to see dashboards or the status of a project does not need a paid seat. Second: from Standard upwards you bring external parties in as guests, so clients or suppliers can work with you on a board without a full licence. Teams of more than 40 users get a price on quote.

Costs that are not on the pricing page

  • Two products side by side. If you want both projects and sales in monday.com, you often need Work Management and CRM. Those are two separate licences, whether or not for the same people.
  • Automations and integrations above your limit. On Standard, 250 actions a month quickly hit the ceiling. Then you have to choose: cut automations or move up to Pro.
  • Apps from the marketplace. Extra apps (such as location management, document generation or VAT checks) are charged separately, usually also per bundle of users.
  • AI credits. Every plan includes a monthly number of credits. If you use AI features heavily, you can buy more.
  • Setup and adoption. The licence is usually not the biggest cost. An environment that is not set up properly stops being used after a few months, and then you are paying for seats nobody uses.

Which plan suits your situation?

  • You want to try it out first with one or two colleagues: start with Free or with the free trial.
  • One team, simple task lists, no automations needed: Basic is enough, but you will outgrow it quickly.
  • An SME that wants to track projects, requests or planning in one place: Standard.
  • Multiple teams, time tracking, private projects or lots of automations: Pro.
  • Strict requirements for security, audit and administration, or hundreds of users: Enterprise.
  • A sales team that wants to follow up leads, deals and quotes: monday CRM Standard is usually the starting point.

Licences through a partner or direct?

You can buy monday.com directly online, or through an official partner such as Tryve. With a partner you get one point of contact for licences, setup and support, plus help with choices such as the right plan or merging accounts. Feel free to request a price quote; we will then work out the numbers for your situation.

Conclusion

The list price of monday.com is straightforward: €9, €12 or €19 per user per month for Work Management and €12, €17 or €28 for CRM. The difference lies in the choices around it: the right plan, smart use of free viewers and guests, and an environment set up so that every paid seat is actually used.
